Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Content Development to
manage a team responsible for creating educational resources for
preK-6.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and oversee strategies for preK-6 content creation,
ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices
Lead and manage the Content Development team, including recruitment
and professional development
Collaborate with various departments to articulate content vision
and manage project budgets
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in education, English, literacy,
journalism, or a related field
10+ years of content development experience in preK-6 educational
publishing or EdTech, with at least 3 years in a management
role
Expert knowledge of editorial and content development practices for
educational resources
Deep understanding of preK-6 pedagogy and national/state literacy
standards
Proven ability to coordinate and lead content development efforts,
including managing vendors and contractors
