provider harm is acceptable to us.Your Role With Us:Salem Health is
seeking a full time Urology Hospitalist to join our Salem Health
team. As a Urology Hospitalist with Salem, you will work in
collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers and
other members of the health care team to directly manage the care
of patients in hospital, outpatient surgical and ambulatory
settings.
- Provide inpatient consults and performs operating room-based
procedures.
- Performs out-patient urgent but not emergent surgeries.
- Handles after hours calls, rounds on inpatients, and completes
urgent urologic surgical procedures while on call
- Documents clinical care in an appropriate, timely and accurate
manner
- Documents and submits billing activity on a daily basis
- Reviews charts as needed
- Assists in the development of policies, protocols, order sets
and handouts pertinent to the Urology Service
- Develops a referral base for urology patients
Background/Expertise:
- Graduated from an approved school of medicine
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Urology
- An unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of
Oregon
- Current DEA certificate
- Board Certification in Urology by the American Board of
Urology. Applicants who are not Board Certified must obtain board
certification within five years from completion of the applicable
Residency and/or Fellowship program
- Skilled in all aspects of urology procedures/surgeries
- Knowledge of Lean methodology highly preferred Total Rewards
