Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Director - Behavioral
Health.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct utilization management and peer reviews in accordance with
guidelines and policies
Collaborate with external providers on complex clinical cases and
supervise clinical staff
Provide education and clinical input for policy development and
quality of care reviews
Required Qualifications
7+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in health
plan payer roles
Board certification in Psychiatry with clinical and administrative
experience
Unencumbered medical license to practice in Minnesota or initiation
of application required
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a flat organizational
structure
Strong data-driven decision-making skills and experience with
health care economics
