Currently, we're looking for Licensed Practical Nurses to fill in our night shift full-time and jump into an incredibly career with MedHealth.*Job Details:*Hours: FTE, Nights 40 hours weeklyStarting Pay: $37, shift differentials for both nights and weekendsMain shift duties:* Run Night Med Pass for prescription and OTC meds: The nights med pass is much less cumbersome than days, as many patients are asleep and very rarely does a medication need to be administered throughout the night.* Conduct physicals for new patients: When someone arrives to the facility, patients must be checked for physical and mental health. Nurse must be able to effectively and quickly advise triage for patients in a medical emergency or danger. EMS will be notified immediately, with a response time of less than 5 minutes for medical emergencies. Security will accompany Nurse and is trained on safety procedures to protect both the nurse and patient.* Respond to medical emergencies: For all emergencies, EMS will respond and transport patients to nearby emergency room. Nurse must respond to emergencies, direct emergency protocols for security team, and stay with patient until EMS arrives.
