On days that onsite activity is not required, individuals in this role may work remotely.All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new employee orientation.ResponsibilitiesThe Manager, Coordinated & Integrated Leaves is responsible for overseeing the reporting and administration of workers' compensation claims, short- and long-term disability claims, accommodations under the ADA, employee leaves under both company policy and federal and state laws. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws regarding workers' compensation, ERISA, OSHA reporting, ADA, FMLA and OFLA, and LHS policy.As a member of the People & Culture Leadership Team:

  • Evaluate, (re)design and improve policies and practices in service of creating a high performing organization.
  • Partner with leaders in diversity, equity, and inclusion to ensure services and practices are designed and implemented using an equity lens.
  • Collaborate with operational, executive and People and Culture leaders to ensure workforce practices and policies reflect business objectives.
  • Prioritize customer needs and work flexibly, creatively, and effectively to deliver.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence, growth mindset, critical thinking, humility, creativity, flexibility and can adeptly balance perfection with progress.
  • Build systems and structures that consistently cultivate all forms of safety (physical, psychological, professional) for individuals and teams across the organization.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent applicable experience.Experience:A minimum of five to eight years of diverse and progressively more responsible experience with Workers' Compensation, disability and leave claims.
