Job Description:
A company is looking for a Category Buyer responsible for
supporting the purchasing process within a specific product
category.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement activities for assigned product categories,
ensuring alignment with company goals
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and
secure favorable terms
Conduct market analysis to inform category strategy and supplier
performance management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business
Administration, Project Management, or a related field
preferred
3+ years of experience in sourcing, preferably within a specific
category or industry
Strong knowledge of the building material industry
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
Experience in category management or managing specific product
categories
