Job Description:
A company is looking for a Renewable Energy Permitting Land Use
and Zoning Associate.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a key contributor in permitting/zoning, project risk
assessments, and environmental concerns for utility-scale renewable
energy storage projects
Support land use, permitting, and zoning inquiries/public hearings
related to renewable energy projects
Develop and implement a cohesive renewable project development
permitting, zoning, and environmental management framework
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in complex permitting strategies for large
infrastructure projects
Experience drafting land zoning analysis and permitting plans for
energy infrastructure sites
Ability to collaborate with Project Developers and create
presentations on permitting and environmental compliance
Track record of success in supporting permitting strategies leading
to project NTP/COD status
Direct experience with land entitlement, environmental regulations,
and land development strategies
