Expected start date is mid July. This correctional facility houses both male and female inmates and provides the following services: medical and dental care, a commissary, social and educational programs, as well as drug and alcohol and psychological counseling.The ideal candidate will have experience in any of the following areas: medical-surgical, telemetry, primary care, urgent care, clinic, or outpatient settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients health needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct patient care. Our Med Techs are expected to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.Schedule - shifts 6:00 Am - 10:00am Monday-Friday* Provide direct patient care in an outpatient settings.* Document patient progress and treatments in the medical record.* Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.* Monitor vital signs and adjust treatments accordingly.Requirements:* MUST have Basic Life Support for healthcare providers through American Red Cross or American Heart Association MUST have completed an in-person skills check off.* MUST have a minimum of one year of experience* MUST have a valid, unrestricted certificationJob Type: Part-timePay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hourSchedule:* 4 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayExperience:* Medication administration: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* state certification (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
