Job Description:
A company is looking for a Billing Specialist (Entry Level) to
assist the billing department with insurance verification and claim
processing.
Key Responsibilities
Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility for
accurate billing
Assist with medical billing, claim preparation, and follow-up on
claims
Address patient billing inquiries and maintain accurate billing
records in compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or
bachelor's degree preferred
1 year of experience in medical billing or insurance claims
processing
Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical
billing software
Strong knowledge of medical billing codes and insurance
guidelines
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient
confidentiality
